What we collect

When you place an order we collect the entity information you confirm for the filing, the signer's name and title, your email address and phone number, and a payment token from our payment processor. We never collect or store card numbers. When you create a password we store only a one-way hash of it. When you contact us we keep the message and your contact details.

How we use it

We use this information to prepare and submit your filings, to run hands-off yearly filing if you are enrolled (including the reminder emails described in the Automatic Filing Terms), to send order and filing confirmations, to respond to your inquiries, and to meet our record-keeping obligations. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

Payment details go directly from your browser to our payment processor. Filing information goes to the Nevada Secretary of State as part of the filing. Our email provider delivers our messages to you. Our hosting and content delivery providers process traffic to this site. Each of these providers handles data only to provide its service to us.

Public record data

Entity pages, person pages, address pages and registered-agent pages on this site show information exactly as the Nevada Secretary of State publishes it in the public record: entity names, officers and their roles, registered agents, and the addresses filed with the state. Names and roles are published as the state publishes them and are not removed on request.

An officer who wants a personal address withheld can ask via the contact page. When we withhold an address, it no longer appears on any page of this site; the state's own record is unaffected.

Cookies and browser storage

We set a session cookie when you sign in to your account. Your theme preference is kept in your own browser's storage and is never sent to us. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Retention

Order records, stamped filings and state receipts are kept for as long as your account exists and for the period required by law afterwards. You can ask us to close your account; we then delete what we are not required to keep.

Your choices

You can see and correct the information on your account at any time, cancel hands-off yearly filing from any reminder email or from your account, and ask us what personal information we hold about you through the contact page.

Children

This site is for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top changes when we do.
